Fast-Forward

Acceleration spell
  • Speed: Action.
  • Range: Touch.
  • Target: Creature.
  • Cost: X.
  • Concentration.

Affected creature gains the following:

  • Its speed increases by X × 1 m.
  • Its Reflexes increases by 2.
  • If X is 3 or higher, it gains an extra action on each of its turns.

When this spell ends, the affected creature cannot take actions or move until the end of its next turn.

Motion Blur

Prerequisite: Alchemy 4

When you cast Fast-Forward, if X is 3 or higher, the affected creature gains:

  • Cannot be perceived while moving.
  • Gain an edge on all attack rolls.

Time-Lock Projectile

Prerequisite: Arcane 4

  • Targets of your ranged attacks cannot benefit from edge on their defence rolls.

Afterimage

Velocity Transfer

While concentrating on an Acceleration spell, your speed is increased by 3 m.

Supersonic

Half-Step

Prerequisite: World 4

  • Speed: Action.
  • Range: 5 m.
  • Target: Creature.
  • Cost: X.
  • Concentration.

You slow down the passage of time for a creature. You can affect unwilling creatures with World vs. Alchemy. Affected creature gains the following:

  • Its speed decreases by X.
  • Its Reflexes decreases by 2.
  • If X is 3 or higher, it has one less action on each of its turns.

Slow

Prerequisite: Visualisation 4

When you cast Half-Step, the affected creature gains:

  • If X is 5 or higher, attacks against it gain an edge.

Stasis

Prerequisite: World 6

  • Target: Creature or Object.
  • Cost: 3.
  • Concentration.

Slows down the subjective time of a creature or object to near-still. If a creature is affected, it falls unconscious while the spell lasts. Affected creature or object does not age, or otherwise change due to the passage of time.

Prerequisite: Reason 4

Blink
Acceleration spell
  • Speed: Action.
  • Range: Touch.
  • Target: Creature.
  • Cost: X.

You send the affected creature a short distance forward in time. Choose a number of turns between 1 and X (inclusive). Affected creature disappears; while disappeared, no time seems to pass for it. The affected creature misses a number of its turns equal to the number you chose, then reappears at the start of its next turn after that.

Warpshot

Prerequisite: Reflexes 4

When you cast Blink, on one of the turns that the affected creature skips it can choose to briefly reappear and take one Attack action before disappearing again.

High-Dimension Uncertainty

When you cast Blink, when the affected creature reappears (when the effect ends, or when it uses Warpshot) it can choose to reappear in any unoccupied space within 3 m of where it last disappeared.

Time Stop

Prerequisite: Alchemy 6

  • Range: Self.
  • Target: Creature.
  • Cost: 5.
  • Concentration.

You accelerate time for yourself to such a degree that the world around you appears frozen. Affected creature gains the following effects:

  • Other creatures cannot perceive you.
  • Nothing except you moves unless directly moved by you.
  • When your turn ends, lose 1 Energetics and immediately take another turn. If your Energetics would be reduced to zero, this spell ends instead.

When this spell ends, your turn immediately ends.

Accelerator

Prerequisite: Arcane 8

You gain an alternate way of casting Time Stop, with the following changes:

  • Range: Touch.
  • Cost: 7.
